Little Taller: How has your role evolved over the past year, and what new skills or responsibilities have you taken on?

Jordona: This year, my role has shifted from being primarily focused on execution and project management to learning how to lean more into strategy and leadership. I’ve taken on ownership of internal marketing for Little Taller, building out a structured social media and content strategy while supporting the team in client delivery. I’ve also grown in confidence when it comes to client strategy conversations, moving beyond task management into being a consultative partner.

A big milestone for me this year was completing the GirlsClub Emerging Leaders program, which helped me strengthen my leadership skills, build confidence in sales and strategy conversations, and expand my perspective on how to show up as a trusted advisor.

Little Taller: What project or client engagement from the past year stands out as your favorite, and why did it resonate with you?

Jordona: Two projects stood out to me the most this year for very different but equally meaningful reasons.

The first is Dispatch. I truly enjoy working with their team—not only are they great people to collaborate with, but they’re also a company whose mission and culture I admire. Supporting them across website updates, email setup, social media templates, video, and sales collateral has been both challenging and rewarding. The variety keeps things engaging, and the partnership itself makes the work especially fulfilling.

The second is Anderson Mobile Grooming, which was my favorite branding project of the year. This engagement allowed me to dive into the creative process of shaping a brand identity from the ground up. It was exciting to see the story, visuals, and strategy come together into something cohesive and impactful. The project reminded me of how much I enjoy the creative side of our work and the tangible impact branding can have for a client.

Little Taller: Share a challenge you faced this year and how you overcame it. What did you learn from that experience?

Jordona: One of the biggest challenges this year was helping implement a more structured process alongside Becca. As I leaned further into Marketing, Becca took the lead on process, but it has still been a core part of my day-to-day. As exciting as building process can be, it also comes with growing pains—adjustments, redefinitions, and lots of iteration. Now that these processes have rolled out across all teams, roles have been redefined, and I’ve already seen tremendous growth in team members. What I learned is that while change can feel bumpy, it ultimately creates alignment and clarity. I’m excited to see how these improvements continue to elevate our work and support everyone’s growth, knowing we’re all on the same team cheering each other on.

Little Taller: Little Taller places a big emphasis on ownership and orchestration. How have you seen this reflected in your daily work and how has it impacted your work output this year?

Jordona: Ownership has shown up for me in leading internal marketing efforts, building out internal and client-facing processes, and advancing how we support clients beyond tactical execution. I’ve taken responsibility not just for the work itself, but for ensuring it’s connected to strategy, thinking through the “why” behind what we deliver and how it drives impact.

Little Taller: Looking ahead, what aspects of your professional life are you most excited about developing further in the coming year?

Jordona: In the coming year, my goal is to continue growing as a strategic leader, someone who helps guide both clients and our internal team through conversations that focus on the why and the purpose behind every project. I want to help ensure we’re always approaching work with intention and clarity, so our efforts feel less transactional and more impactful. Beyond that, I want to keep strengthening my confidence in leading client strategy discussions, refining processes to improve efficiency, and supporting the team in connecting creative ideas to meaningful outcomes.
